  • Dr Fay Cranwell

    FRACGP, Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine, Diploma in Dermatology

    Dr Cranwell is a medical graduate from the UK, who moved to WA in 2016. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of GP and holds Diplomas in Dermatology and Aesthetic medicine.

  • Dr Yu Aye

    MBBS, FRACGP, Advanced Certificate of Skin Cancer Surgery, Advanced Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine

    Dr Aye is a qualified GP, finished her GP training in the Northern Territory and then returned to Perth. Dr Aye was working in a skin cancer clinic for more than 4 years and has a special interest in skin cancer detection, mole scan, skin cancer management; both medically and surgically, concerning skin lesion checkups, excision of skin tags, cyst and lump removals. Dr Aye is working towards post graduate diploma of skin cancer medicine.

Billing & payment questions.

How does billing work?

Winthrop skin clinic is a private billing practice. We use the TYRO payment system, which refunds your Medicare rebate to your account immediately after you pay in full. Accounts can be paid by cash, credit card or EFTPOS, but rebates can only be deposited to a debit card — that’s a Medicare rule, not ours. If you’ve registered your bank details with Medicare online, we can also process the rebate directly, and it will land in your account within 24 hours.

Yes –  from 1 March 2026 we’re updating the skin clinic’s billing structure to continue providing high-quality care and keep the practice sustainable. Please check with reception for the latest fee schedule before booking.

Yes. The fees published above apply equally to private patients and to patients holding a Health Care Card or Pension Card.
